COVID-19: Nepal reports 3,840 new cases, 33 deaths

KATHMANDU, July 28: Nepal on Wednesday confirmed 3,840 new cases and 33 more deaths. 

Health ministry shared that new cases were detected through the 15,808 tests carried out at labs across the country. 

With this, COVID-19 casetally in the country has climbed to 688,307 through PCR tests and 58,350 through the antigen tests.

With deaths confirmed on Wednesday, Nepal’s fatality tally stands at 9,791. Nepal had reported the first death on May 16, last year. 

Meanwhile, 1,993 more patients got over the illness taking the total number of recoveries to 649,072.
