Weather: These places likely to witness heavy rainfall today

KATHMANDU, July 22: The Weather Forecast Division has warned of soil erosion and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall in some parts of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudur Paschim provinces. 

The division has urged people to take necessary precautions as the water level in rivers and streams may rise with downpour.

Issuing a regular weather bulletin on Thursday morning, the division shared that some parts of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Far Western province and a few parts of other provinces have been receiving light to moderate rainfall along with general to complete change in the weather. 

Similarly, light to moderate rain is predicted in many places across the country on Thursday afternoon. Heavy rainfall is expected in few places of Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudur Paschim provinces.
