Gaighat, Udayapur, A bomb has been exploded at a house of Nepali Congress candidate in Triyuga municipality-7, Himal Karki, early this morning. Karki is candidate of State Assembly 'Kha' of Udayapur constituency 1.
An unidentified group ran away after throwing the improvised explosive device at the house when Karki's father saw the group planting it.
Although two cattle sustained injuries in the incident, no human casualty was reported in the incident.
Chief of the District Police Office, Superintendent of Police, Nabaraj Bhatta, said that search for those involved in the incident was underway.
Meanwhile, police have so far arrested seven people on the charge of their involvement in anti-poll activities in the district.
