Family of boy killed in leopard attack gets compensation

Achham,  The family of one Pawan Bhul of Mellekh Rural Municipality-8 of Achham who was killed in an attack by a cheetah in last July was provided relief assistance of Rs one million. 
The bereaved family was given the assistance amount by the Far Western Regional Forest Directorate, Dhangadhi through the District Forest Office (DFO) Accham. 
The wild animal attacked the 15-year-old boy in the night of July 4 reaching his bed. 
Following the tragic death of the boy, the DFO Achham recommended the Directorate for compensation to the victim's family. 
The DFO Accham's Information Officer Bikash Sharma confirmed the handover of a cheque of the assistance amount to the victim's father Gopal Bhul recently amidst a programme at the office itself.
