‘US to donate COVID-19 vaccines enough to inoculate 1.5 million Nepalis’

KATHMANDU, July 10: The United States (US) is preparing to provide COVID-19 vaccines to Nepal, which will be enough to vaccinate 1.5 million people, in a few days. 

Randy Berry, US Ambassador to Nepal, taking to Twitter on Friday, said that the US government will donate vaccines at no cost to Nepal which will fully vaccinate 1.5 million people. 

“I could not be any prouder of our 73-year long partnership,” wrote he, adding, “America will stand with Nepalis, and we will continue to work tirelessly to improve their lives."
