Relief provided to victim family

DEUKHURI, July 9: The District Administration Office, Dang, and Ghorahi sub-metropolis today provided relief to the family of a girl, who was killed after her house collapsed following incessant rainfall. 

A three-month-old Bindu Chaudhary of Ghorahi sub-metropolis-17 was killed in the incident on Thursday. Bindu’s mother and sister have sustained injuries in the incident.

Mayor of Ghorahi sub-metropolis, Narulal Chaudhary, handed over Rs 225,000 provided by the District Disaster Management Committee and sub-metropolitan city to Asharam Chaudhary, father of the deceased. 

The District Disaster Management Committee had provided Rs 200,000 while Rs 25,000 by Ghorahi-sub metropolis. 

Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Limbu Kurumbang, Chief of the District Police Office, Suresh Prasad Kafle, and mayor Chaudhary had reached the victim’s house to provide relief.
