No odd-even rule for vehicles from Tuesday, exams with physical presence allowed
KATHMANDU, July 4: Ongoing restriction orders in the Kathmandu Valley have been further eased.
“A meeting of the chief district officers (CDOs) of the three districts in the Valley, on Sunday, decided to allow the operation of all the private and public vehicles. New rule come into effect from Tuesday,” said Prem Prasad Bhattari, CDO of Bhaktapur district.
Earlier, the Valley administrations decided to allow the operation of the vehicles on an odd-even rule.
Reviewing the earlier decision to allow only the vehicles with more than 25 seats, the CDOs dedicated to allow the micro buses and tempos to resume their operation from Tuesday.
The meeting also allowed the administration of examinations with the physical presence of examinees.
CDO Bhattarai said that a maximum of 25 examinees will be allowed in an examination hall to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 disease.
However, schools, colleges, tuition centers and training centers are still not allowed to resume their classes with physical presence
