Secession suspect Raut's follower arrested

 

Rajbiraj, Saptari,  A follower of CK Raut accused of spearheading a secessionist movement in Madhes has been arrested on Saturday evening from the district for encouraging local people to invalidate their vote in the upcoming December 7 elections. 
A police team held Gyanendra Khadga of Hanumannagar Kankalani Municipality-1 in Saptari while distributing pamphlets encouraging the people to invalidate their vote in the premises of Shiva Temple in Rajbiraj-7 when a political programme organised by the Madhes alliance was going on, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dhurba Kumar Shrestha. 
Meanwhile, a total of 207 polling stations in the district have been marked as high sensitive for the polls. In view of this situation, a high security arrangement has been made, said the district administration office.
