EC rejects govt request on transfer of under secretaries

Kathmandu ,The Election Commission (EC) has denied approval over the government request forwarded to it for transferring on deputation six under-secretaries. 
According to EC spokesperson Nawaraj Dhakal, the EC denied to approve the government decision over the matters as Ministry of Home Affairs had written a letter to it for the same on November 21. 
The EC further has directed the Ministry of Home Affairs to submit original documents regarding to deputation on transfer of these officials. 
Of these six under secretaries, three are chief district officers. It is stated that the government request was denied as it was against the election code of conducts.
