New leadership in Chitwan chapter of Feed Industries' Association

Kathmandu - The Chitwan chapter of Nepal Feed Industries' Association has got new membership from the 16th annual general meeting. The nine-member new committee has reelected Bal Chandra Khanal as the Chairman. The chapter got Binod Pokharel as vice-chairman, Om Prakash Tiwari as secretary and Yubaraj Pathak as treasurer.

Similarly, the members are Leela Baldav Chapagain, Buddhi Prasad Adhikari, Ramchandra Adhikari, Shiva Poudel and Nirajan Khanal. In the AGM, central Chairman of the Association Rabin Puri said the foreign dependency on raw materials should be ended. He demanded the government to scrap agriculture reform fee.

Similarly, Vice-Chairman of Nepal Poultry Federation Narayan Hari Khatri and Tikaram Pokhrel among others complained that cost of chicken and eggs was expensive as the investment cost increased much. There are 25 feed industries in Chitwan alone.
