Flood survivors provided financial assistance

Kathmandu - Landslide and flood survivors of Pallotari from Marsyangdi Rural Municiplaity-3 in the district have been provided financial supports. The local Pamchok Youth Club collected Rs over 2.1 million from different helping hands from the country and abroad and provided to the afflicted families.

The club chair Kumar Bhandari handed over the amount to local disaster management committee coordinator Prem Bahadur Basnet recently. The floods had damaged 21 houses in the village last monsoon. Similarly, over three dozen houses were partially damaged, putting 29 other houses in high risk in the locality
