Eight members of a single family test positive for coronavirus

Kathmandu - Eight persons of a single family in Sandhikharkha Municipality-8 in Arkhakhanchi district tested positive for coronaviurs. Officials said that family members of Bishal Khadka currently living in Sandhikharkha Municipality-8 were infected.

Khadka’s mother, wife, son, daughter, brother and two sisters also got infected. With this, 34 new cases were spotted in the district in the past 24 hours, according to District Health Office Information Officer Bijay Baral.

Likewise, the coronavirus tally in the district totaled 486 while the number of active cases is 90. In the district, four people succumbed to the virus so far. An infected person died of the virus in Dang’s Corona Special Hospital, Beljhundi.

According to manager of the hospital Drona Oli, a 66-year-old woman of Tilottama Municipality-3 died on Saturday morning in the hospital. The woman was also suffering from diabetes and blood pressure for long.
