One more dies of Corona in Jhapa

Kathmandu - A 45-year-old man of Ghailadubba in Kankai municipality-9 has died of COVID-19. He died during treatment at the COVID hospital in Biratnagar on Saturday night, according to Mayor Rajendra Pokharel. He was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure.

He will be cremated in the presence of family members in Kankai aryaghat today. So far, two residents of Kankai municipality have succumbed to COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the municipality has allocated a separate site at Kankai aryaghat to cremate the people who die of Corona Virus. One among the five sites for cremation has been allocated, said Mayor Pokharel. The death toll due to Corona Virus has reached seven in Jhapa district so far.
