Systematic online teaching stressed

Kathmandu - Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen Parbat Gurung has said that online teaching system should be made more efficient. He also called upon the guardians to be more cautious as the kids may fall in trap of ‘digital addiction’ due to misuse of internet. The government is committed to enacting the required Act, laws and guidelines for this, he added.

Minister Gurung was addressing a virtual programme today organised by Nepal National Teachers’ Organization National Committee of Organizational Schools on the occasion of the 54th International Literacy Day and National Children's Day. Likewise, the Minister asked the teachers and students not to be disappointed from the impacts of coronavirus on education while arguing that the student’s one academic year won’t be wasted on the pretext of COVID-19.
