Attack on journalist Karki condemned

Kathmandu - The organizations of journalists and employees at RSS including the chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) have condemned the attack on senior reporter and chief of customers' care department at RSS, Rajaram Karki. Issuing press releases, the RSS chapters of FNJ, Nepal National Employees' Organization and RSS Employees' Association condemned the attack on working journalist Karki.

Karki was assaulted near Banepa Bus Park at 9:30 am today while he was returning home after buying some goods from market. The attacker was identified as Nepali subject teacher at Nepal Police School of Sanga, Uddhav Karki. He is from Suryabinayak Municipality-10 of Bhaktapur.

Rajaram got injuries on his head and had to visit hospital for medication. All RSS chapters demanded action against the assaulter and wished speedy recovery of the injured journalist Karki.
