Three die in landslide

Kathmandu - Three persons were killed in a landslide occurred in different parts of Nishikhola rural municipality in the district last night. Those losing lives were Birendra BK, 14, and Prabesh BK, 6, from ward No 14, and Bali BK, 60, from Ward No 3 of the rural municipality.

Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Burtibag, informed that they were found buried in the landslides which destroyed their houses. Similarly, 53-year Dilsara BK received injury in the landslide. She has been receiving treatment at local health post. Meanwhile the landslide occurred at Nishikhola has obstructed the vehicular movement on the mid-hill highway.
