One killed in landslide

Kathmandu - A person died when landslide swept him away in Palpa district on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Aryal, 30, of Rambha rural municipality-1, according to the District Police Office, Palpa.

Ward chairperson Krishna Regmi said that the incident took place when landslide occurred near Batasekhola swept him away when he had gone to his farm on Monday night to stop the damages at his farm caused by landslide following incessant rainfall. The landslide had swept away Aryal some 10 meters away.
