NC forgetting BP’s national reconciliation policy: leader Bhandari

Kathmandu - Nepali Congress central working committee member and former minister Shankar Bhandari has said that the party was neglecting the thoughts of late leader BP Koirala. Addressing a sapling plantation programme organized by NC Vyas Municipality Committee on the occasion of the 38th Memorial Day of leader Koirala here today, leader Bhandari argued that tribute to BP Koirala will not be enough only by remembering him one day in a year.

He said, “Party leaders and cadres were forgetting the principle of national reconciliation enunciated by the late leader Koirala.” Leader Bhandari further shared that the intra-groupism will harm the party therefore such practices should be ended to strengthen the party.

Similarly, NC district president and mayor at the Municipality Baikuntha Neupane remembered BP’s contribution in democratic movement in the country. NC town committee president Shanti Raman Wagle shared that the party has organized afforestation programmes in each 10 local levels in the district. A total of 225 saplings of different species were planted on the occasion there.
