Three people die in separate mishaps
Kathmandu - Three people have died in separate mishaps occurred in Salyan and Sarlahi districts. In Salyan, one person was killed and another one was injured in a tractor accident at Sarsukhola of Darma Rural Municipality-4 in the district today. The accident took place when a tractor (Ra 1 Ta 3487) heading to Neta towards Rukum Chaurjhari met with an accident at the place.
The deceased has been identified as Tilak Thapa of Jharkanda of Kumankh Rural Municipality-5 in the district. Thapa is the tractor owner. Similarly, the identity of injured helper of the tractor is yet to be ascertained. Similarly in Sarlahai, one person was killed while two others were injured in lightning at Nayabasti of Bagmati Municipality-10 in the district on Wednesday.
The deceased is identified as Chhotu Paswan, 18, of the place. Kamaladevi Mukhiya of the same place was injured in the incident. They were planting paddy in the field of local Sunmaya Basnet when the lightning struck them. Similarly, a 35-year old Barun Sahani of Balara Municipality-1 was injured in the lightning yesterday.
Meanwhile, a 42-year old Jadu Sahani of Ishwarpur Municipality-4, Sarlahi district was killed due to electric short circuit. He was electrocuted while connecting cable to a plug at his home last night. Likewise, 1 45-year old Kalman Lopchan of Bagmati Municipality-1 drowned to death in a local River.
