COVID-19: 29 new cases in State 2

Kathmandu - Altogether 29 new cases of Corona Virus have been confirmed in State no. 2 in past 24 hours. The new cases were detected in Dhanusa, Mahottari and Parsa districts. The confirmation was made during a PCR test carried out at the State Laboratory in Janakpurdham and Narayan Sub-regional hospital, Birgunj.

Three are from Dhanusa, 24 from Mahottari and two from Parsa, according to Social Development Secretary Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire. Three of them were staying at the Charnath municipality quarantine in Dhanusa, and of 19, 22 and 35 years old. Likewise, in Samsi municipality of Mahottari, four men between 14 to 33 years, ten including one-year-old girl child and one-year-old boy at the Aurahi municipality quarantine were found infected.

Ten of them are between 20 to 38 years including in Loharpatti municipality. Likewise, a 32-year-old man and 32-year-old woman tested positive to Corona Virus in Parsa. Along with the latest cases, the tally of infected has reached 3,019 in the state, including 200 women. The number of people who have recovered from the deadly virus has reached 1,415, including 24 who were discharged after recovery on Saturday.
