Rotary Club aids COVID-19 test equipment to State government

Kathmandu - The Rotary Club of Butwal has assisted materials required for preventing and controlling the coronavirus disease to the State 5 government. The Club representatives called on State's social development minister Sudarshan Baral and handed him PCR test kits and equipment for collecting swab samples.

The assistance includes 500 testing kits and 1,000 swab collection materials. Rotary Club of Butwal's president Dilli Kumar Shrestha, said upon receiving the assistance, the Minister said the assistance would mater much in the efforts to save people's life while the government was grappling with the shortages of testing kits and other equipment necessary for the treatment.

As the Rotary said, it also continues to provide food relief assistance to those daily-wage workers affected by the ongoing lockdown against the virus.
