3,286 children vaccinated against measles, rubella in Kailali

Kathmandu - A total of 3,296 children are vaccinated against measles and rubella in Kailali rural municipality. The children aged between nine-month to five years were vaccinated. The vaccination programme obstructed after the COVID-19 outbreak completed with hard efforts adopting safety measures and social distancing.

Twelve health workers from local health centre managed the vaccination bid in the village. Meanwhile, 4,733 children, who were new born and aged below five years, were administered polio drops in the village. They local health centres have met around 85 per cent of their total target in this campaign.
