Kathmandu–The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party has begun at the Official Residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar this morning.
During the meeting, matters relating to contemporary politics and election of the new Speaker of the House of Representatives are being discussed, according to the PM's press advisor Surya Thapa.
The Standing Committee meeting of the party last week had also given the authority to the Secretariat to decide on the Millennium Corporation Challenge funding to be provided to Nepal by the US government. This matter will also feature during the meeting.
