Janakpurdham–All the preparations have been completed for holding the wrestling matches here under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG). The wrestling matches are being held in the local District Sports Development Committee's covered hall from December 6 to 9.
The wrestling rings have been constructed inside the covered hall for organizing the matches while accommodation for the players and related sports officials been arranged at hotels.
Wrestlers from Nepal and Bangladesh taking part in the competition have already arrived here, District Sports Development Committee's administrative chief Binod Kumar Singh said. Players from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are participating in the wrestling competition.
The male and female teams from these countries will compete in wrestling. Pakistan has sent only men's team in wrestling. Players from Nepal will be kept at City Star Hotel, the Bangladeshi players will be accommodated at Welcome Hotel, the players from India and Sri Lanka will be housed at Rajdurbar Hotel and the wrestlers from Pakistan at Pawan Mithila Hotel in Bardibas, Singh said.
