RSP yet to announce full list of candidates for local by-elections

Kathmandu, November 15 — The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced that it will take more time to finalize its candidates for vacant positions, including the Kirtipur Municipality, for the upcoming by-election on December 1.

RSP had already announced its candidates for some local levels on November 13.

However, the party stated that it is still in the process of finalizing candidates for the remaining local levels.

The party had previously promised to finalize all candidates for the by-election, except for the District Coordination Committee, by November 15. However, as of now, the party has not yet finalized candidates for all local levels.

According to Ganesh Parajuli, a party MP and leader responsible for local level by-elections, efforts to finalize candidates for the remaining local levels are ongoing, but it will not be possible to finalize them today.

“It is not possible to finalize the candidates for the remaining local levels today. We are working on coordinating to finalize the candidates,” he said.
