Prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley extended until June 3

KATHMANDU, May 25: The ongoing prohibitory orders in the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley have been extended by one more week.
A meeting of the chief district officers (CDOs) of the three districts in the Valley held on Tuesday decided to extend the orders until June 3 in view of the escalating fears of the coronavirus pandemic.
The orders which are in force in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts since April 29, were earlier extended for two times. The recent extension was due to expire on May 27.
