Report on rape, murder of Pant being prepared: Law Minister Dhakal

Kathmandu – The high level commission formed to look into the rape and murder of Nirmala Panta is preparing the report, said Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal. 

Minister Dhakal was responding to lawmakers' questions in today's meeting of the House of Representatives. The main opposition Nepali Congress drew the attention of the government to arrest and bring the murderer(s) of Panta to justice, arrest the murderer(s) of Town Chairperson of Nepal Tarun Dal, Rolpa, the youth wing of Nepali Congress and release Raju Basnet, editor of Khojtalas Weekly arrested for writing news tantamount to character assassination. 
The minister also informed that the search is ongoing for the murder(s) of Pun. 

He also said respective minister would respond to queries to be raised by main opposition in tomorrow's House meeting.
