Rastriya Swatantra Party Announces Bagmati Province Convention Election Schedule

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has published the election schedule for the Bagmati Province convention. According to the schedule, the voter list publication will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Claims and objections to the voter list can be made until 12:00 PM. Investigation into claims and objections will be done by 12:30 PM, and the final voter list will be published at 1:00 PM. The time for candidacy registration has been set from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM. Voting will start from 6:00 PM. The election result will be announced after the counting of votes is completed. However, if any candidate does not receive more than 50 percent of the total votes specified by the election committee, a re-election will be held between the candidate who received the most votes and the candidate who received the second most votes. If a second round of elections needs to be held, the election committee will announce the date of the re-election after notification, and the re-election will be held within a maximum of 3 days, but campaigning will be completely banned during that time. None of the officials of the election committee will have voting rights.
