Kathmandu Metropolitan City's 19th Convention Set for Jestha 31

Kathmandu. The 19th convention of Kathmandu Metropolitan City will be held on Jestha 31. The 50th city executive meeting of Kathmandu Metropolitan City held on Tuesday set the date for the convention. 

The meeting passed a proposal to hold the convention, with the first meeting of the 19th convention of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City's City Assembly to be held at 11 AM on Sunday, Jestha 31, at the National Assembly Hall, said Acting Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Sunita Dangol.

She said, 'I present for the construction of a proposal to hold the convention, with the first meeting of the 19th convention of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City's City Assembly to be held at 11 AM on Sunday, Jestha 31, regarding the convening of the 19th convention of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City's City Assembly.'

Similarly, the meeting also approved the local curriculum for the Nepali language, and the curriculum for child development and pre-primary level. Nepali language will be taught up to class 8 in schools within Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has stated that the curriculum has been approved to implement it at the pre-primary level as well. –
