Nepali Congress General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire Pledges No Favoritism Within Party

Chitwan. Nepali Congress General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire has expressed commitment not to show favoritism to anyone within the party on any basis.

Talking to journalists in Chitwan on Tuesday, he said that the traditional factionalism within the party would be ended and they would move forward unitedly in the 15th General Convention.

General Secretary Ghimire clarified that the leadership is ready to address the differences within the party and include everyone. He informed that generosity would be shown in providing opportunities and roles within the party, and they are conscious of ensuring the political future of all leaders and cadres.

Ghimire said, 'Differences are seen within the party, we are ready to address them and include everyone. We are conscious of generously ensuring everyone's political future by providing opportunities, roles, and including them.'

He claimed that the recent decision to nominate members to the central committee also confirmed the leadership's intention to take everyone along. He stated that there is no room for the '60-40' power-sharing and unhealthy factionalism seen in the party in the past.

He said that the Congress would move forward by establishing it as a common platform for all. General Secretary Ghimire also informed that the entire party is currently focused on preparations for the 15th General Convention.
