Rastriya Swatantra Party Appoints Two Joint General Secretaries in Karnali Province

Surkhet. The Karnali Province Committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has nominated two leaders as joint general secretaries. Raj Bahadur Shah has been nominated for the male position and Avisara Subedi for the female position in the two joint general secretary posts that were previously vacant.

According to RSP Karnali Province Chairman Madan Khadka, the provincial committee made the decision a few days ago and the party center approved it on Sunday.

In the male position, Hari Adhikari, who was previously the joint general secretary, resigned on moral grounds after the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority filed a corruption case against him in the special court for his alleged involvement in the embezzlement of funds from the Forest User Committee.

The post became vacant thereafter. Similarly, the female joint general secretary post had been vacant since last year.
