Fire Destroys 13 Houses in Saptari's Tilathi Koyiladi

Saptari. A fire broke out last night in Babhanagama Tole of Tilathi Koyiladi Rural Municipality-6 in Saptari. Police said that 13 houses of six families were burnt down in the fire.

Local Ramavtar Yadav's two houses and a cowshed, neighbor Jugai Yadav's two houses and a cowshed, Anil Yadav's two houses and a cowshed, Yogendra Yadav, Rajkumar Yadav, Dhirendra Yadav's one house each, totaling 10 houses and three cowsheds, were completely burnt down by the fire that spread from the embers lit in the cowshed of local Ramavtar Yadav, informed local Ramnath Yadav. 13 houses were completely burnt down.

According to the District Police Office, preliminary estimates suggest that property worth more than approximately Rs 4.5 million, including food grains, clothing, jewelry, furniture, and cash, was destroyed in the fire.

The fire was brought under control with the help of the fire brigade from Hanuman Nagar Kankalini Municipality, Madhesh-Province Police Training Center Rajbiraj, and local residents.
