Seven Fugitives Arrested in Sunsari for Various Court-Sentenced Crimes

Sunsari. Police have arrested 7 fugitives who were absconding after being convicted in various cases by the court in Sunsari. Police teams dispatched from the District Police Office, Sunsari, and subordinate police units arrested the absconding defendants from various places in Sunsari, the District Police Office, Sunsari informed.

Tejbhadur Shrestha of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-15, who was absconding in a theft case, had a remaining sentence of Rs 5,000 fine and 150 days imprisonment according to the decision of the Sunsari District Court on Chaitra 7, 2081.

Similarly, Manoj Bishwakarma of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-15 in an indecent behavior case was fined Rs 4,000 according to the decision on Baishakh 27, 2081, Gyanendra Bisht of Barahkshetra Municipality-6 in a theft case was fined Rs 600 according to the decision on Ashwin 24, 2080, and Satishchandra Yadav of Dewangunj Rural Municipality-7 in a bigint case had a remaining sentence of 730 days imprisonment according to the decision on Ashar 13, 2082, when he was arrested, the police informed.

Likewise, Sabin Kumar Khatiwada of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-18 in a check bounce case was fined Rs 1,000 according to the decision on Chaitra 4, 2080, Deepak Rishidev of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-1 in a theft case was fined Rs 3,000, and Bharat Poudel of Barahkshetra Municipality-20 in a public offense case had a remaining sentence of Rs 5,000 fine according to the court's decision on Bhadra 26, 2076, when he was arrested, informed Chandra Khadka, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Sunsari.

All those arrested have been sent to the Sunsari District Court for execution of the sentence, the District Police Office, Sunsari informed.
