'Geeta Maitri Milan' Program Organized in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. A 'Geeta Maitri Milan' program is being organized on Sunday with the slogan 'Let's read, teach, and apply Geeta in life'. Swami Govindadev Giri, founder of Geeta Pariwar, will give a special discourse on the importance of studying Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in the program organized with the objective of preserving Nepal's cultural history and building a cultured and prosperous nation.

Earlier, a procession will depart from Kamladi Ganeshsthan, and at the program organized at Pragya Pratishthan, there will be a discourse on the study and practice of Bhagavad Gita, informed institution secretary Ramprasad Adhikari. Geeta Pariwar Nepal, established in Mangsir 2077 BS, provided motivational and financial assistance for meals to affected individuals through self-service during the Corona infection period.

The institution has been working to instill moral values in children through 'Bal Sanskar Varg' to develop their body, mind, and intellect, teaching Geeta verses online for free, and practicing and facilitating pure pronunciation with grammar. The institution has been operating the program 'Geeta in every home, our campaign: Let's read, teach, and apply Geeta in life' as a campaign.

Geeta Pariwar has been organizing various programs by embracing devotion to God, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, motherland, scientific integrity, and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. Currently, the institution has 500 volunteers and 15,000 members, informed Chairperson Sarika Agarwal.

Geeta Pariwar, which has been providing study, practice, and application of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita through 14 languages to more than 1.4 million seekers and beneficiaries worldwide, is advancing the spiritual awakening campaign in Nepal.
