Nepal Medicity Hospital Showcases Services at Bangladesh Expo

Kathmandu. Nepal's health services have been exhibited at an expo organized in Bangladesh. Nepal Mediciti Hospital has exhibited its services at the 'International Health Tourism and Services Expo 2026' organized in Bangladesh. This is also the first exhibition of an international medical tourism expo organized outside Nepal.

This expo started on Thursday at the International Convention City in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and will conclude today (Saturday). This expo has brought together major hospitals, healthcare providers, wellness centers, diagnostic institutions, and medical tourism facilitators from Asia and beyond.

The three-day fair has participation from health institutions from countries including China, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Sri Lanka, which, according to the organizers, will showcase the growing importance of medical tourism and international health cooperation at the regional level.

Speaking about the participation in the exhibition, the hospital's Chief Executive Officer Dr. Amit Tomar said that this program is a great opportunity to establish Nepal as an emerging destination for high-quality and affordable healthcare services in South Asia. He stated that this participation will help strengthen Nepal's presence in the rapidly developing medical tourism sector.
