UAE Responds to Missile and Drone Attacks from Iran

Abu Dhabi. The United Arab Emirates has stated that missile and drone attacks are occurring from Iran. The UAE's Ministry of Defense, in a statement issued in Arabic, informed that retaliatory actions are ongoing across the country against missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). 

According to the ministry, explosion-like sounds were heard in various parts of the country on Friday morning. Security agencies have urged the public to remain calm and follow the security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

Earlier, on April 9, the UAE had announced that its airspace was secure following the start of the US-Iran ceasefire. However, it has been reported that the UAE has continued to intercept attacks originating from Iran even after that. It is stated that the UAE has faced the most attacks from Iran in the last two months.
