Trump Claims Iran War Will End Soon, Cites Nuclear Deal Efforts

Washington DC. US President Donald Trump has claimed that the ongoing war with Iran will end very soon. Speaking at a program organized in support of Republican candidate for Georgia Governor, Burt Jones, Trump revealed that America is trying to reach an agreement with Iran on the issue of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's nuclear program. Defending his move, Trump said, 'If you look at what is happening now, you will understand that we have taken this step for a very important reason. We cannot let them build nuclear weapons under any circumstances. Most people know that we are doing the right thing and this war will end very soon.' Amidst the ongoing tension between the two countries, Iran is preparing to send its official response to the US proposal today, Thursday, through Pakistan, which is playing the role of mediator. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Bakai informed that their opinion on the proposal sent by America will be handed over to the Pakistani mediators. According to media reports, both the US and Iran are currently moving towards reaching an agreement to end the war. However, Iran has stated that it has not yet fully accepted America's proposal and is internally discussing and considering various points of it.
