US and Iran Near Deal to End Tensions

Kathmandu. Significant progress has been reported towards preparing a one-page agreement with the aim of ending the long-standing tension between the United States of America and Iran. This proposed agreement has been moved forward with the goal of ending the war between both parties and preparing a basis for detailed talks on nuclear issues in the future.

According to the proposal, Iran will commit to completely stopping the uranium enrichment process currently underway under its nuclear program for a certain period. In return, America will prepare to lift the economic and trade sanctions imposed on Iran and return frozen assets. This is expected to provide relief to Iran's economy and improve international economic relations.

Similarly, there is also a possibility that both parties will remove the obstacles imposed on oil and trade transportation through the Strait of Hormuz, which is considered extremely important internationally. The smooth operation of this waterway is estimated to bring stability to the global energy supply and reduce the uncertainty seen in the oil market.

However, the biggest dispute of the agreement lies in the duration of stopping uranium enrichment. According to current discussions, this period could be around twelve to fifteen years. Iran had previously proposed stopping for only about five years, while America had demanded a long-term ban of about twenty years. For this reason, a final agreement has yet to be reached between both parties.

This proposed agreement is considered the closest effort so far towards ending the war, but the final outcome still appears to depend on discussion and agreement.
