Police Arrest Document Writer in Connection with Siraha Court Area Bomb Blast

Siraha. Police have arrested a document writer in connection with the cooker bomb explosion incident that occurred at the Bar Association office in front of the Siraha District Court.

According to the District Police Office, Siraha, document writer Gumsta Yadav of Sukhipur Municipality-3 was taken into custody based on suspicion.

DSP Ramesh Bahadur Pal, Information Officer for the District Police Office, Siraha, informed that a detailed investigation into the incident is underway. He stated that one person was arrested on suspicion and the investigation has been ongoing for four days.

He added that detailed information could only be released once the investigation reaches a conclusion. The arrested Yadav had been operating an office in front of the Siraha court, working as a document writer.

One employee working in the office was injured due to the explosion. The injured person was Saurabh Yadav, a resident of Siraha Municipality-1. He sustained injuries to his leg.

Computer and other materials inside the office were also damaged in the incident. DSP Ramesh Bahadur Pal, Information Officer for the District Police Office, Siraha, stated that the explosion occurred on the afternoon of February 27 (Falgun 27).
