Liverpool Dominates Galatasaray 4-0 to Secure Champions League Quarterfinal Berth

Kathmandu. English club Liverpool registered a comfortable 4-0 victory over Turkish club Galatasaray in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16. With this splendid win, Liverpool advanced to the quarterfinals of the competition with an aggregate score of 4-1.

Liverpool established a strong hold on the game from the start in the match played at their home ground. Dominik Szoboszlai scored in the 25th minute to give the team the initial lead. Liverpool, leading 1-0 at halftime, stunned Galatasaray by scoring three more goals in an 11-minute interval in the second half.

Hugo Ekitiké doubled the lead with a goal in the 51st minute of the match. Two minutes later, in the 53rd minute, Ryan Gravenberch added another goal. Liverpool's victory was sealed when star striker Mohamed Salah scored in the 62nd minute.

Although Galatasaray held a 1-0 lead in the first leg, the Turkish team appeared helpless against Liverpool's aggressive play in the second leg. Having performed excellently in both defensive and offensive aspects, Liverpool has now secured its journey to the quarterfinals.
