Russia Condemns Alleged Missile Attack on Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Plant

Kathmandu. Russia on Wednesday strongly condemned what it called a 'missile attack' on Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said during a weekly briefing, "We strongly condemn the irresponsible, completely unacceptable missile attack on the inner perimeter of the Bushehr nuclear power plant."

She added, "Russia had warned the United States and Israel against 'actions that create a risk to the lives' of Russian citizens still working at the plant."

Moscow had helped construct the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
