Sankata FC Secures Dominant Victory in Women's National League Opener

Kathmandu. Sankata FC has made a winning start in the ongoing Martyrs Memorial National Women's League in Kathmandu.

Sankata FC began their campaign with a resounding 4-0 victory over New Road Team in the opening match held at Chyasal Ground in Lalitpur on Wednesday. Yashoda Shahi, Sukriya Mia, Lucia Leila, and Akosua Amankwah scored the goals for Sankata.

The Women's League, organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), will run until Baisakh 12.

Ten teams are participating in the league: APF Football Club, Bagmati Youth Club, Church Boys United, Jhapa FC, New Road Team, Nepal Police Club, RS Resort and Beach Football, Sankata FC, and Tribhuvan Army FC.

ANFA stated that the league matches will be played on a single round-robin basis.
