Air Dynasty Helicopter Crashes in Khotang During Landing

Kathmandu. An Air Dynasty helicopter flying from Kathmandu to Khotang crashed in Balabensi, Khotang. The helicopter overturned after becoming unbalanced during the landing process, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

According to CAAN, all occupants of the helicopter with the call sign '9N-AFQ' involved in the accident are safe. There were a total of 6 people aboard the helicopter: 1 pilot and 5 passengers. The authority stated that one person sustained minor injuries while the condition of all others is normal.

The helicopter, which took off from Tribhuvan International Airport at 11:00 AM, crashed at 11:51 AM. The authority reported that the helicopter overturned after becoming unbalanced during landing. Furthermore, CAAN clarified that rumors about any dead bodies being transported on the helicopter are untrue.

Another helicopter from Kathmandu has already departed for Khotang to rescue the passengers and crew members at the accident site.
