Rastriya Swatantra Party Senior Leader Balen Shah Skips Orientation for Newly Elected MPs

Kathmandu. Senior leader Balendra Shah (Balen) will not participate in the two-day orientation program organized by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to inform newly elected members of parliament about parliamentary practices and the current legal status.

The two-day residential orientation, which began on Tuesday at a hotel in Kathmandu, concludes today, Wednesday. While party chairman Rabi Lamichhane will attend the closing session briefly, senior leader and prospective prime ministerial candidate Balen Shah will not be present.

RSP spokesperson Manish Jha confirmed that while Chairman Lamichhane will attend the second day of the orientation, senior leader Shah will not be participating.

He stated that there is no need to read any meaning into Shah's absence, as the senior leader is currently engaged in preparations for the upcoming government and will need to work physically and mentally in the coming days.
