ANFA Women's League Kicks Off in Kathmandu on Chaitra 4

The Martyr's Memorial ANFA Women's League, organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), is set to begin in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Chaitra 4. ANFA stated that the league matches, which will run until Baisakh 12 at the Chyasal Ground in Lalitpur, will be played on a single round-robin basis.

The participating teams in the league will include APF Football Club, Bagmati Youth Club, Church Boys United, Jhapa FC, New Road Team, Nepal Police Club, RS Resort and Beach Football, Sankata Club, and Tribhuvan Army FC. All nine participating teams have claimed they are intensifying preparations for the league and are confident of securing favorable results.

During the pre-match conference held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Tuesday before the opening match, coaches and captains of the participating teams stated that the players are ready for the league and will play to pressure other teams from the start to secure positive results.

The opening match of the league on Wednesday will feature a contest between New Road Team (NRT) and Sankata Football Club. In another match scheduled for Wednesday, Tribhuvan Army Club and Jhapa FC will face each other.
