Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Denounce New Royal Biography as 'Deceptive Conspiracy'

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have labeled the claims made in author Tom Bower's upcoming book, 'Revenge: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family,' as a 'deceptive conspiracy and melodrama.'

According to excerpts published in The Times on Friday, Queen Camilla reportedly commented to friends that Meghan had 'brainwashed' Harry. Bower portrays Meghan as a divisive agent within the Royal Family in his book. He also mentioned that Prince William and Princess Catherine viewed Meghan as a threat to the monarchy.

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan issued a statement on Saturday saying that author Bower has crossed the line of criticism and is prejudiced. The statement read, 'This is a person who has publicly expressed views that the Sussex family should be removed from the state. He is making a career out of creating fictional theories about people he has never met.' The Sussex couple commented that those seeking facts should look elsewhere, and that this book is only useful for those seeking delusion.

The book also criticizes the commercial deals Harry and Meghan made with Netflix and Spotify after leaving the UK for the US in 2020. According to Bower's claims, William and Catherine were terrified by Meghan's behavior. The book states that Meghan regretted that Harry could never be king and that she had no chance of becoming queen.

Furthermore, Bower claims that Harry fears that upon his elder brother William becoming king, the Sussex family's titles will be stripped and they will be permanently expelled from Britain. He also satirized the media's perception of Harry's 'Invictus Games' as the 'Meghan Games.'
