Trump Claims Iran Seeks Deal, But Terms Are Not Yet 'Good Enough'

Washington D.C. President Donald Trump has made a new claim regarding a potential deal with Iran. In an interview with American television network NBC News, he stated that Iran has contacted him seeking a deal. However, he claimed the proposed terms are "not yet good enough."

However, the Iranian government has not confirmed such a claim. Attacks and counter-attacks are still ongoing between the US and Iran, signaling that both sides are trying to strengthen their position through military and diplomatic pressure.

According to Trump, any potential deal would require Iran to abandon its nuclear program. He also raised questions about the status of Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. Trump stated he doubts whether Khamenei is alive, as the new Supreme Leader has not appeared publicly and the statements do not appear to be read by him personally.

Regarding the military aspect, Trump claimed that the US military has inflicted significant damage on Iran's missile and drone production capabilities. According to him, Iran's production capacity in this area will be "almost destroyed" within a few days.

Previously, he had also claimed that Iran's naval power in the Strait of Hormuz had been weakened. However, he has not acknowledged that despite a weakened navy, Iran still retains the capability to launch missile and drone attacks. The main US strategy currently appears to be targeting the factories producing the missiles and drones that Iran is using.
