Making federal system a success is the need of hour: CM Rai

Biratnagar –Chief Minister of Province No 1, Sherdhan Rai, has said that there is a challenge to make federal system a success as it is the first practice in our country. 

Inaugurating the election review programme organised by Election Commission at Biratnagar, today, Chief Minister Rai said that election was indispensable for institutional development of federal democratic republic. 
He also urged all to play significant role from their sides in implementation of federalism, saying the federal system has raised hope of the people regarding peace, security and prosperity. 

Similarly, Chief Secretary of Province No 1, Suresh Pradhan, expressed the belief that suggestions of the participants regarding making the election system easy, smooth, systematic and trustworthy would be essential.
Chief of Regional office of Election Commission, Biratnagar, Prem Sanjel and Under-Secretary of the Election Commission, Mahendra Bhattarai, also expressed their view. 

More than 70 people including Chief Election Officers, judges, district election officers of all districts of Province no 1, security personnel, Provincial Assembly members and media persons have been participating in two-day programme organised with an objective of soliciting suggestion in order to make elections credible and systematic.
