Flights Halted at Gulmi's Resunga Airport Due to Dense Fog Conditions

Gulmi. Flights have been suspended at Resunga Airport in Gulmi due to adverse weather conditions. Nepal Airlines, which had been operating flights three times a week since the first week of Falgun, stated that regular flights have been hampered in recent days due to dense fog.

Suman Thapa, the station chief at Resunga Airport in Gulmi, informed that due to continuous dense fog for a week, Nepal Airlines' flights scheduled for last Sunday and Tuesday were disrupted.

Following a change in the flight schedule, the Resunga Airport now operates flights only three times a week: on Sunday, Tuesday, and Saturday. The corporation mentioned that the flight schedule was altered due to a shortage of aircraft, as their current three 'Twin Otter' aircraft require periodic maintenance.

Currently, the fare from Kathmandu to Gulmi is set at NPR 7,500, and the fare from Gulmi to Kathmandu is NPR 7,300.
