Fuel Prices Surge Across Spain Amid Global Oil Volatility and Middle East Tensions

Spain. Gas stations across various regions of Spain have recently seen an increase in fuel prices. This price hike is attributed to fluctuations in global oil prices and rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

This has caused public concern regarding the rising cost of living. Two weeks ago, the price of diesel was approximately 1.57 euros per liter, but it has now increased to 1.85 euros, which is a rise of nearly 30 cents.

Other interviewees stated that this increase in fuel prices could not only raise travel expenses but also increase logistics costs. The effect of this could ultimately be seen in the prices of food and other daily necessities. Some also expressed concern that if tensions continue, oil prices could rise further, creating additional pressure on the economy and people's livelihoods.
